Deacon Mews - Brockworth

The development

Homebuyers needs, as well as local topography, have been foremost in the design of this select development of nine 1, 2 & 3 bedroom homes.

Bell Homes pride themselves on their carefully selected choice of development sites and Brockworth is no exception. Ideally placed between Cheltenham, Gloucester and the M5, Brockworth offers the discerning homebuyer easy access to several centres of commerce.

Brockworth

Brockworth and the surrounding area boast a self-sufficient lifestyle, with supermarkets, local shops, doctors and dental surgeries, pubs, take-aways and restaurants. Whilst for those who enjoy sport there are two local sports centres and a variety of individual sports including several good golf clubs.

For those who prefer their sport from the sidelines the renowned Cherry and Whites, Gloucester’s famous rugby team welcome new supporters to their stands. This is an excellent area for schooling, with a choice of play schools, two primary schools and a high performing senior school, whilst for those who wish to further their education there are opportunities both at Gloscat College and the University of Gloucestershire.

Gloucester is a bustling city, dominated by its unique Victorian Docks and the stunningly beautiful 11th century cathedral; there is good shopping with a wealth of High Street names and individual shops. Cheltenham in contrast is the most perfectly preserved Regency Spa town in Britain, famed for its shopping, theatres, festivals, restaurants and world famous racecourse, home to the Gold Cup.

Gloucestershire

Gloucestershire is a delight, with the rolling hills of the Cotswolds; mellow stone picture postcard villages and bustling market towns. The area is criss-crossed with wonderful walkways, bridle paths, cycle tracks and canals ideal for weekend relaxation. There are historic houses and castles including Berkeley and Sudeley both renowned for their excellent picnic in the park concerts and firework displays.

Other delights of the county are Westonbirt Arboretum, Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, The Fairford Air Tattoo or for something a little different Gloucester Cheese Rolling at Coopers Hill or the Sack Race at Tetbury, the list is endless, each unique and each a great way to relax.

Whatever your choice this is an area well placed to enjoy the special things in life. Lying alongside the M5, A417, A38 and A40 commuting is easy. Gloucester and Cheltenham have main line railway stations linking to Swindon & Bristol 50 minutes and London, Paddington in a little under 2 hours. Both Bristol and Birmingham airport operate national and international flights on a daily basis.
